Whose Happy Holiday

I personally don't like this holiday ....

How Thanksgiving was originated...

Then how its glorified

with meals & pictures ...

The social media family fashion shows & cooking competitions....

How it seems programmed to be the one time of the year to come together as a family, fellowship and be thankful....

Like that's not something

we should be doing on a regular basis....

I don't know....

I made my meal for my children because we don't eat like this everyday....

I Didn't go see nobody

And nobody came to my home

because I don't see or speak to them any other time, so what makes today so special...

Because the native Americans land , lives , dignity ,crop & some more shyt we probably don't even know about !

was STOLEN by the pale man per usual ....

Then forced to have a large buffet .....

A PRETEND WE'RE ALL GETTING ALONG TEA PARTY!

So every YEAR I'm supposed

to now celebrate on top of their losses, seems pretty insensitive ....

Like coming together having fried chicken, Black eyed peas, cornbread , watermelon and a cool sweet tea every day for every one of my ancestors that became strange fruit swaying amongst the weeping willows....

Call me a party pooper

But I enjoyed playing video games & acting goofy & giving God gratitude with my daughters like we always do ....

But the whole tradition feels fake , forced & 6gets two thumbs down from me .......
