Who Will Catch Me Now

Missing you

By Mary BowiePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Whenever I'd get in trouble, Vick would soon be there.

No matter the time day or night, I knew how much he cared.

I would trip and stumble, but he'd catch me if I fell.

My knight in shining armor, I could do no wrong.

He was six of seven brothers; he stood so tall and strong.

His smile would melt my fears away and help me through it all and I knew he would always be there to catch me if I'd fall.

Then one day he went away to answer God's great call, it left us all so devastated we couldn't digest it all, we looked around wondered how could this be true?

How can we possibly make it through this life without you?

I know you're in a better place and I know you had to go, but I still can't help but wonder.

Who will catch me now?
