Who rode love?

A poem that tells the story of an arrogant lover

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago • 2 min read

It is strange that a man thought women were

a gift until he grew old

and the women of the earth loved him from

a creation that was proud of him

and that they surrounded him, so he became even more astonished

and said in his seclusion: This is my happiness

and as if the houris were in his service

playing for him after singing

so he danced from his arrogance

and he did not know that the dance would end

and if they threw him

into the depths of deception, his praise increased

and as if the earth was his property

so he was proud of it, not caring

so they said: O John, this is the age, so does

a person fall in love with the fear of hardship?

The hand of the houris was cut off for him

With love from his beauty, the beauty of splendor

And if he did not answer the call

The eye's weeping increased

And if he passed by the neighborhood where

All the houris lose their modesty

And they say: Love overflowed

Every heart of the houris and love is one

The deceived one claimed that love had

Took the mind but the mind was not cut off...

And he saw that the one he loved had become

Searching for closeness to ascend to the sky

So he was deaf to others

So she became another living in secret

Whenever he said to her: No and she does not

Hope that he would move away by distorting

And she said if he flew to

others she would fly to him in space

And if he strayed from her she would catch up

With the passengers of love in the high air

And she said: I get what

I asked from him, my hope was not disappointed

So he returned and did not pay attention to her for a year

So she said: The trick of the ignorant

And after she reached her goal she mocked

him, he said: My effort Like dust

Tomorrow he will praise women's trickery

After he denied it on the day of satire

Tomorrow he will recite in his days

"Love of the houris is a bad omen"

The lost should not rejoice in it

But they will return from it disappointed
