Who Is Really Rich – Them or Me?

Life is full of people who feel that they are rich,

And there are those who view life as constant fun,

But if only they could feel for a minute of each day,

The love I have for you

What would they think of their lives then?

Who is really rich, them or me?

Actors down in Hollywood, think they have it made,

Cause people pay to see them act.

They live out all their fantasies on celluloid and tape,

Pretending they are something that they’re not.

With you, there is no fantasy; our love is for real,

So who is really rich – them, or me?

Comics down on Vaudeville get their kicks when people laugh,

So they can hide the pain and grief inside.

Many are searching for someone whom they can love,

To take away the troubles that they hide.

And if they could see how my love keeps you happy every day,

Who is really rich - them or me?

To all the millionaires with money,

Politicians with false power over us,

Give me the love of this lady,

Make our lives long and true,

I will never let you go.

For it is I who is rich and none of you.

To the lady that I love,

I give my heart and soul,

They will belong to only you.

You brighten up my days, warm up all my nights,

I am the richest man on earth,

Because of you.
