Who do you see?

When you look deep into your own eyes?

Do you recognize the man you have become?

or

Do you fear the lines in your skin, that mark the passage of time?

Do you worry about the gray cords climbing like vines through your hair?

Do you fear your actions, the shapes they take? The echos they make?

or

Is it inner peace you feel?

Solace, in knowing you've done what you could?

Are you content in the knowledge that you have lived? Simply lived.

or

Is there a question remaining still, in the depths of your irises?

The one question that plagues us all.

What if...?

Tell me

Who do you see?
