Stripped of the screen

Dragging you down, mermaid's embrace,

Irresistible, is it?

Snapping another chat,

Typing another text while your mind

Rushes around, but stop wait 2 minutes -

Arch your back,

Capture this angle.

Turn it off. Turn it off. Turn it off.

Invite stillness.

Operator, return to factory settings,

Now, I ask again: who are you?

Writing is the balm, the escape, the solution and the sustenance.
