Who Are You?

No, really.

Who are you?

If you are not your title and not what you are doing, then who are you really?

This is a real struggle.

We kept it within ourselves, deep down and hush-hush.

We hardly remember who we are anymore.

Perhaps society had conditioned us this way.

Flipping through the glossy pages of the magazines, you see photos after photos of svelte, beautiful women plastered all over. Then they tell you how to dress and what you must own this season so that you could remotely look like them.

But to remotely look like them is….them. How about you?

Then we turn on the television to find commercials of happy couples and family living in this or that condominium, eating or drinking some particular foods or drinks to remain healthy and happy.

We stared at the entertainment box and find ourselves wanting that property and thinking of the next grocery trip to pick the earlier advertised food and drink.

So that we could also…. remotely live like them.

Yesterday, I reactivated my Linkedin account and was prompted to “update my profile”.

Briefly, I scrolled through my Homepage and saw the many achievements attained by people I followed. Of course, I am happy for them and proud to even see some of my trainees whom I worked with achieving to new heights and pursuing something they love.

Back to me.

What should I update?

I decided on my job title as a “Freelance Writer” because that is what I am pursuing.

But no, really.

Hi, I am Min.

I am a dreamer, a child of God.

I am a strong advocate of hope and I want to pass this hope along to everyone that crosses my path. I am pursuing my dreams to be a freelance writer and praying that somewhere along this dream, to create a podcast and perhaps, a YouTube channel.

So…

Who are you?
