Who are the 500?

Note: this was written as a thank you to my readers and subscribers for helping me reach this significant number...and also an enquiry as to how I did it. Any thoughts?

Who are the lucky ones

to see my work and reply,

telling what they like and why

(occasionally a critique on my page)?

Is there something here

for every single reader; all done

as soon as I find the right words to share

with that bigger world right out there

(usually something worthy of that stage)?

Too many questions for you;

not enough of that old sort of fun

you commented on in my past

when I wrote something to last

(always attempting to try and engage)?

I thank you all for you words,

and hearts of valentine – all blacked ones.

I promise to keep my work coming through

and create stories, critiques, just for you

(plenty more of my joy and usual rage).
