Who Am I?

I found myself.

Buried deep beneath the mountain of roles collected over the years.

I examined each one.

Searching for some resemblance of wholeness that would satisfy that penetrating question.

who am i?

I sorted through the words that were gifted from those closest to me,

And pieced together combinations that flowed luringly.

Yet still, the glass remained only half full.

WHO AM I?

I traveled to lands where only magic lives

And became enchanted by hidden narratives.

Flowing freely as the bird in the sky,

I began forming my own answer to who am i.

I am the light.

I am the dark.

I am the in-between.

I am the flower sprouting from the evergreen.

I am the mystery that no one has ever knew.

I am connected to every part of you.

That is who I AM.
