Whispers of Winter
Softly they dance, the snowflakes fall,
A hush in the air, nature’s gentle call.
Each flake unique, a delicate lace,
Drifting down from a cloud's warm embrace.
They twirl and they spin, in the crisp, cool breeze,
Landing on rooftops, on branches of trees.
A blanket of white covers the ground,
In silence and beauty, pure joy can be found.
Children laughing, they run and they play,
Building their snowmen, brightening the day.
Hot cocoa in hand, by the fire’s warm glow,
We cherish these moments, as soft flakes bestow.
So here’s to the magic that winter does bring,
The quiet of snowfall, the peace it can sing.
In each tiny flake, a world to explore,
A wonder of winter, forever adored.
