Whispers of the Wind

Abstract Poetry

By Silver Raven Published 11 months ago 1 min read

Soft strokes of color, dancing light,

A whisper calls, both bold and bright.

Amber leaves in twilight’s glow,

Like autumn flames in drifting woe.

Branches stretch with silent grace,

Veins like rivers interlace.

A breath of wind, a fleeting sigh,

Carrying echoes, letting them fly.

Shadows mix with golden fire,

Tangled roots of lost desire.

A sky of mist, a hush of rain,

Memories swirl, dissolve in pain.

Every line, a tale it weaves,

Softly trembling, whispering leaves.

The past and present intertwine,

A fragile dance, a blurred design.

Let the winds take what remains,

Scattering dreams in painted veins.

For even storms must rest in night,

And beauty lingers in fading light.
