Whispers of the Setting Sun

A Sunset Serenade of Stillness and Solitude

By Fazal MalikPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

A golden hush falls on the sea,

Where time dissolves so tenderly,

The sun descends in molten grace,

And paints with fire the sky's embrace.

A silent boat with anchored dreams,

Floats gently through the amber gleams,

Its wooden frame, both worn and wise,

Reflects the hush of fading skies.

The palms lean close in twilight's prayer,

Their shadows soft against the air,

While birds in flight like notes arise,

And sing farewell to crimson skies.

No storm, no rush, no voice remains,

Just whispers through the ocean’s veins,

The world in stillness seems to know—

True peace is found where sunsets go.

Beyond the hills, beyond the shore,

Where echoes sleep and hearts restore,

This moment speaks without a sound,

Of quiet love the waves have found.
