**A Poem for My Beloved in the Army**

In the quiet hours of dawn’s embrace,
Where shadows dance on walls of grace,
I find your absence, deep and vast,
A love that lingers, though time has passed.

Your voice, a whisper on the breeze,
In every rustle of the trees,
I hear your laughter, see your smile,
Though we’re apart, by many miles.

The nights are long, the days too slow,
Without your warmth, without your glow,
Yet in my heart, you’re ever near,
A beacon bright, a love sincere.

Each star above, a silent plea,
To bring you safely back to me,
But till that day, I’ll hold on tight,
To memories of love’s pure light.

For though you serve, so far away,

love poems

This must be one of the toughest position to be in, but even so, it’s beautiful how you try to keep him near though he’s far away, through this poem. I hope this poem hugs you tightly whenever you re-read it. Thank you for sharing it with us.
