Whispers of Dawn
Finding Peace in the First Light

In the quiet hush before the day,
When shadows dance in twilight’s gray,
A whispering breeze begins to play,
And dreams from night start to decay.
The stars retreat, their light withdrawn,
As amber hues announce the dawn.
The world, in stillness, wakes with awe,
To nature's tender, silent draw.
A single bird begins to sing,
A melody that welcomes spring.
The flowers lift their dewy heads,
From slumber's soft and gentle beds.
In this serene, ephemeral hour,
I find a moment’s tranquil power.
The worries of the night are gone,
Lost in the whispers of the dawn.
The river’s flow, a calming sound,
The heartbeat of the earth, profound.
I breathe in deep, the morning's grace,
And feel the sun’s warm, soft embrace.
Here, in this dawn, my soul takes flight,
Embraced by peace, bathed in light.
A poem born of morning's kiss,
A fleeting, pure, and perfect bliss.
