Whispers of Autumn
An Ode to the Senses in a Season's Embrace

Amber leaves drift lazily, painting the sky with gold, sunlight flickers through the trees, warm yet turning cold.
The wind hums softly, like a lullaby in the air, branches creak and whisper secrets only they can share.
I press my hand to the ancient bark, rough with time, feeling the knots and ridges, each groove a silent rhyme.
Warm cider kisses my lips, spiced with cinnamon and clove, the taste wraps around my senses like an autumnal trove.
A deep breath pulls in the scent of earth, pine, and rain, moss and damp leaves lingering, as nature's fragrance reigns.

I really enjoyed this lovely and descriptively beautiful poem. It left such wonderful visuals as I read it.
Beautiful writing, Willow.
