Whispers of a Broken Heart

The Reverberations of Shadows

By MOSIE hazimePublished about a year ago 1 min read
Broken Heart

In nightfall's grip, where murmurs stay,

A heart, when entire, presently says goodbye,

To dreams that moved on silver streams,

Presently squashed underneath the heaviness of pillars.

When brilliant delight, presently muffled tone,

An ensemble blurs, a song blue,

In passages of what was fair,

Dwell the phantoms of delicate consideration.

Each delicate touch, a transitory moan,

Like gossamer wings of a bystander,

With chuckling scratched in shadows cast,

However time, unflinching, surges past.

Gracious, sweet hug, so warm, so close,

Presently wait recollections, soaked in tears,

Where each look, a knife's pushed,

Turns love's warm kiss to harsh residue.

In restless evenings and black skies,

The heart sobs delicately, yet it should rise,

For even broken, it yearns to retouch,

To track down a way through melancholy, rise above.

However in this throb, an example lies,

For affection, however brief, won't ever pass on,

With each heartbeat, each scar,

A demonstration of affection's odd.

So assemble strength from distress' tune,

For in the profundities where shadows crowd,

A seed of trust will valiantly grow,

Out of sadness, we realize what's bold.

In ongoing days, may cherish return,

With eyes again, our spirits consume,

For each finishing marks a beginning,

An excursion fashioned inside the heart.
