Whispers beyond the window
“This poem captures the quiet beauty of a rainy day through a young girl’s eyes.”

I sat in silence on my chair,
Watching birds chirp through the morning air.
Raindrops shimmered on leafy green,
A sight so soft, so pure, serene.
The cattle grazed in distant fields,
As cloudy skies let silence yield.
The rain sang songs upon the earth—
Ahh! What a moment, what a worth.
