The body wakes with morning’s light
And walks beneath the skies so bright
It feels the warmth of every ray
As seasons turn from night to day
The soul, unseen, in quiet stays,
It moves in thoughts, in dreams, in praise.
It watches, listens, gently calls,
Beyond the body’s rise and falls.
The body knows the wind and rain,
The joy of love, the ache of pain.
It bends with time, it wears and fades,
Like autumn leaves, in golden shades.
But the soul—it’s like a breeze unseen,
A river running fresh and clean.
No wrinkle mars its perfect face,
No touch of time, no slowing pace.
The body reaches, holds, and grasps,
It clings to moments, makes them last.
But the soul knows there’s more to find,
In every breath, in heart, in mind.
The body and the soul entwined,
One bound by earth, one unconfined.
Together they will rise and fall,
Together, they will answer the call.
And when the body’s done its part,
The soul will sing, a work of art.
For though the body fades away,
The soul remains—it cannot stray.
"The body knows the rhythm of the world, but the soul holds the melody of the universe."
