While Grampy was sleeping

Grampy took a nap on the couch

When the grandkids came over one day

They put stuffed animals on him

And then the trio began to play

They laughed at their grandpa

Unaware of the toys all around

When he rolled over

Several fell onto the ground

The children put the stuffed animals

On his shoulders, back, and head

They called grandma to take a photo

She laughed and snapped the image

The toys fell off when Grampy woke

He smiled when he saw the image

He sat up as the animals fell

Then said he enjoyed the joke
