Where The Road Drops on the Vocal Summer Challenges.
Time has certainly been in a rush to arrive at the end of the tilt.
There we were, happily writing on a perfectly normal day
scratching our heads and imploring the right words
to appear like magic from the gods of thin air
when suddenly...WHAM!
We were hit with a deluge of challenges
befuddling our senses...A queer sensation descended
like being on a quite normal road
Which suddenly developed a giant pothole
Into which we all went tumbling headfirst
without a parachute or a lifeline to save ourselves
Then we emerged unto a convoluted highway
With no end in sight.
The Summer Writing Program had arrived...
Oh, dear God. Where to begin...not 2, not 4, not 6, 8,
9 or ten...But 12 (twelve) different topics, deluging
our brains all at once.
...Ok...In no particular order, there was

Yet...Everything Looked better from far away.

How to begin...Will it be from Somewhere Between Here and There

For Vocal...You were never really here. My brain is fried at this point.

Is it The Second First Time...or the third last time. Oh Dear.

As, The Road Drops Here
~~~~~Did I miss any, or add some which don't belong. Its all a blur.
But....
In the Immortal words of Isaac Asimov...This was GOLD.
We got to dig up stories from deep within places which
we never knew existed...our brains were tested for AI's
favorite word...Resilience.
Now that it is almost at an end...We breathe a sigh of relief
Back to the more slow paced reaching of our brains
So, whether or not we win any of the coveted awards
Know that we all have already won...GOLD
For, we are all a little bit wiser and have surpassed
Our personal goals of creatively writing
Just for the fun of it all.

I enjoyed reading on the challenge stories that I was notified with and there were a lot of them. Good job.
I felt the same as Jason, so overwhelmed. And I didn't even understand what some of them wanted, lol. Loved your take on this challenge!

It was and still is overwhelming amounts of challenges. Some I understood, otheres left me scratching my head wondierng what exactily was Vocal asking. I must admit I only took part in a few. However I do look forward to them, and reading what creators have come up with.
