Where the Mind Unknots
A gentle walk can soften for the restless mind.

If you are a little anxious,
And your insides are a-twist,
A stroll along a springtime meadow
May help you keep your wits.
Meander in the golden sunlight,
Or drift beneath the moon,
Mosey through a flower field,
Admiring every bloom.
A saunter by a bubbling creek,
A trail that twists and sways,
A lighter heart and quieter head,
With every wandering way.
When the world feels overwhelming,
And your nerves are worn and frayed,
Your sense of self grows whole again,
In nature’s patient shades.
