Where the Heart Finds Home

A journey beyond walls, seeking solace in the soul’s embrace.

By Hanen MehadbiPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Some say that home is walls and stone

A place where roots and seeds are sown

From what I’ve felt in distant lands

I hold with those who search through sands

But if the hearth is cold and bare

I think I’ve seen in longing’s glare

That empty rooms, though safe and bright

Can fail to warm the soul at night.

So whether home is near or far

In whispered words or guiding star

It’s in the heart where comfort lies

In fleeting dreams or tearful eyes

For home is more than where we dwell

It’s in the love that casts its spell

A shelter found, through storm or strife

A beacon lit, a source of life.
