Where Is A Tree’s Heart

Where does each beat come from, that gives it life

Where is a tree’s heart

If you looked, where would you find a tree’s heart?

In the roots, deep and strong,

or in the branches that reach and stretch,

or at the very top,

where it receives the blessings

of the sun, the moon, and the universe?

Perhaps it’s in the silence,

where whispers of life grow,

or in the shadows it casts,

where dreams and secrets flow.

A tree’s heart is in all,

from earth to sky above,

in every leaf, every breath,

it is nurtured by love.

Trees are a gift, and I think it is horrible that they are at times cut down or trimmed down just because they are in the way. I understand that sometimes this has be done though.

That is a really good question, I think it is in the limbs which reach down to touch us as we walk by. I really love this poem.
