Where Am I?

Where am I, lost in the silence of a world that spins too fast!

By RuzlatPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Lost where the silence of a too-quickly spinning world traps me,

Caught between what used to be and what's someday to be, shades of my past.

I stand upon the crossroads, but my direction is not found,

The wanderer amidst the big openness-between fact and dream.

Am I right where I should be or am tracing echoes of whom I once knew?

A reflection in the mirror, forever changing yet always true.

Where am I, when life's noise drowns the voice inside my chest,

When the heart does yearn for peace, and the mind can't find rest?

I search for meaning in spaces between each breath,

In those quiet moments when I confront my fears, my death.

Where am I? Maybe I am in becoming, an endless flow,

For it is in seeking that I see the answer lies in letting go.
