Where a soul is found

Beneath a water color sky

By Taylor WardPublished about a year ago 1 min read
The heartbeat of the sky

In twilight’s hush, a soul takes flight,

Amidst the shadows of the night,

Where dreams and whispers softly blend,

A heart seeks grace, a path to mend.

In silver threads of moonlight spun,

I wander where the stars have run,

Each step, a prayer, a sacred quest,

To find my soul, to find my rest.

The morning’s promise, faint but near,

Emerges from the horizon clear,

A new dawn’s light, so pure and bright,

To chase away the longest night.

For in the depth of darkest skies,

God’s gentle hand our soul deems wise,

He weaves the daybreak’s golden seam,

And breathes in us His waking dream.

In every sunrise, hope is sown,

A sign of love, divinely known,

So as the day begins anew,

I find my soul in light’s soft hue.

With faith as my guiding flame,

I embrace the dawn in ,

For every morn, with grace bestowed,

Speaks of the path, the way He showed.
