Windsor, Ontario, Canada is not one of the major cities of the world.
Let alone Canada.
A city of about 300,000 people.
Trucks honking.
Streets are blocked.
Shortage of goods.
Businesses have to close again.
This time, not because of a virus outbreak.
They have nothing to sell.
People are protesting restrictions.
COVID-19 restrictions that is.
It is all over the television and radio.
Barely anyone talks about Windsor.
My students and other colleagues are asking me about it my city.
What the heck?
It has been nearly a year since.
There is talk of it happening again.
There have been no restrictions since March, nine months.
I hope this never happens again.
