When Tragedy Strikes

When tragedy strikes, our world is shaken,

Our hearts are heavy, our souls are taken,

And in that moment, we are left alone,

To face the pain that we have never known.

We ask the questions, but find no answer,

We feel the pain, but find no cure,

We search for hope, but find no solace,

And in that darkness, we feel so unsure.

The weight of loss is hard to bear,

The memories we hold, so dear,

We wonder if we'll ever repair,

Our broken hearts, filled with fear.

But in this time of grief and pain,

We find that we are not alone,

In the embrace of those who remain,

We find a love that has only grown.

For in the midst of tragedy's grasp,
