When the Wolf Spoke

When the wolf spoke…

his voice shook the night sky,

the mountains trembled upon his colossal presence.

A delicate plumes of cloud

danced and swirled

as he howled into the void.

Arise his earthy body

as it acquired a new form.

Soaring into the darkness

where his soul became one

with the spirits of the past.

When the wolf spoke..

the stars bowed.

His voice graced the gods.

A new celestial body

amongst the nebula.

He was home.

Fun Fact: Did you know this poem was written mainly from a prompt out of a poetry journal before I even began writing out my book? Though I began my story idea years ago when I was much younger, I didn't have a strong basis on a few major details. This poem was the reason I took inspiration to make the title and influence the lore behind the main character!
