When the Sun Goes Down.
Embracing the Quiet of the Setting Sun
By Writes.KPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

At times there is an importance or joy of embracing the sun.
When the sun goes down, the sky
With hues of gold and crimson light,
The day’s last breath, a gentle sigh,
As dusk paints wonder in the sky.

The shadows stretch, the world grows still,
A quiet calm, a tender thrill,
As twilight whispers soft and low,
Embracing all in its warm glow.
The horizon blushes, then fades to grey,
A moment when the earth seems to pray,
For peace to linger in the air,
For dreams to rise, for hearts to care.
When the sun goes down, we see anew,
The stars awake, the moon breaks through,
A dance of light in velvet night,
Guiding us with silvered sight.
So as the sun takes its final bow,
The night unfolds, serene somehow,
A promise that the dark won’t stay—
The dawn will always find its way.
