When the Sky Learned My Story

A poem about hope, healing, and the quiet courage to begin again.

At dawn I awoke to the song of the breeze,

It carried my dreams through the whispering trees.

The sky wore a promise, the clouds part with ease,

Inviting my heart to believe what it sees.

I’ve walked through the shadows where fear likes to hide,

And learned that the storms all will one day subside.

Each tear that had fallen was matched by the tide,

That carried my pain to a shore open wide.

The sun touched my face with a tender embrace,

Its warmth gently melting the coldest of space.

It painted my soul with a luminous trace,

And taught me that hope has a permanent place.

So now when the night tries to cover the day,

I follow the light where it beckons the way.

For love is the lantern that keeps dark at bay,

And trust is the wind that will help me to stay.

The sky holds my story in colors that blend,

From trials and losses to moments that mend.

And I will keep walking, for life has no end,

When hope is my compass and love is my friend.
