When the Devil’s Daughter Met the Devil’s Son

The flames grew higher

When the Devil’s Daughter Met the Devil’s Son

No storm announced the night they met

no blood moon rose, no planets set

just silence thick enough to choke

the world held still, and nothing spoke

She stood where graveyards go to fade

he came from streets the sirens made

no candles lit, no footsteps heard

just tension humming like a word

She wore the past like second skin

he reeked of every buried sin

no need to ask each other’s name

they’d walked through fire shaped the same

Not love, not hate, not lust or fight

just mirror shards that caught the light

he tilted left, she leaned in right

and time forgot to mark that night

No vow was made, no touch was shared

but something old was split and spared

a curse passed down, not cast or thrown

just handed off, like heirlooms known

They didn’t smile, they didn’t bleed

they didn’t beg, they didn’t feed

they simply knew, and knowing stays

in alley dust and chapel haze.
