When soft willows weep their quiet song, I remember you.
Rest In Peace...

The way you smiled, and laughed,
And the soft, kind things you said to me.
Whatever happens in the afterlife,
I hope it’s pleasant.
I hope you’re having a good time,
And I hope you check in on me every once in a while.
The lavender bushes remind me of you, their soft, delicate flowers, and the curls in your hair.
I’ve never tasted a date square quite like yours. I haven’t felt the same.
But when the willows weep their quiet song, I remember you.
