When Life Bumps And Bruises You

Another Curveball Thrown My Way

Isaiah 53:5 N.I.V

He was pierced because of our rebellions and crushed because of our crimes. He bore the punishment that made us whole; by his wounds we are healed.

Life has a way

Of knocking

You off your feet

Quite literally

And when your muscles

Don’t always

Cooperate

And the ground is

Icy

Well not

A recommended

Combination.

But in times

Like that

You find

Out who

Your friends

Are

The ones who

Respond

With

Hope and Prayer.

Life has taught

Me again And again

The ones

Who you can

Lean on

At your weakest

Are the treasures

Sent from heaven.

Pain is pain

But it can be

Something deeper

A fragment

Of a portion

Of what Christ

Endured

So in pain

I echo The

Praises

Because I have

The promise

It won’t always

Be this way.
