When I step into the gym
A world of sweat and determination
A place to push my limits, again
And strive for a better creation.
The clang of weights, the beat of bass
Echoes through the air
As I lace up my sneakers, ready to run
And leave my worries and cares.
I stretch my muscles, take a deep breath
And approach the weights with grace
With each rep, I feel the burn
And a smile spreads across my face.
This is where I come to grow
To challenge what I thought was true
Where the sweat on my brow and the pain in my muscles
Means progress, strength, and breakthrough.
So when I step into the gym
I'm ready to give it my all
For the person I'll become, the goals I'll achieve
Is worth every push, every fall.
