I still remember that first glance.

Not just a moment, more like a chance.

The world grew quiet, the noise fell away,

When your eyes caught mine and asked me to stay.

You didn’t know, but you changed my skies,

Lit up the dark with your quiet sunrise.

A laugh, a word, the way you stood

Something in me just knew you were good

I tried to play it calm, look cool, act right

But my heart was racing

You were a spark that burned straight through.

And all at once, i only wanted you

Not just for now, not just a fling

But in the kind of way that makes a bell ring

The sort of way the stories tell,

Of falling deel and falling right

So here we are, and here i write

Grateful i found you

From that first moment, its always been true
