When I Die

Bring me back to nature.

When I die,

Carry me to the brink of a pond

And lay my body under a Weeping Willow.

Gouge a hole into the earth

And wrap English Ivy around my limbs.

Cover my corpse with fresh soil

And sprinkle wildflower seeds above me.

Grieve over my lifeless body

And moisten the dirt with your teary eyes.

After I decay,

You can come visit my hidden burial place.

My remains will have become a beautiful garden

Where you can lay your body next to mine.
