When I Am Old

Will I regret the life I lived?

When I am old

I’ll look back at my broken world.

When I am old

Will I be proud of the man I was?

Or will I be filled with shame and regret?

When I am old

Will I feel at peace with who I was

or will I wish I was someone else.

When I am old

It's a fear I think about. Live every moment you can...and keep writing! ✍️

I feel like I’m 100 years old sometimes. When I’m old, I’ll feel like I’m 200. Fantastic poem!

Truly questions to ponder - I hope I will feel at peace. I addressed this in my recent poem "I Hope Death is Like". You can find it on my profile if you'd like to read it. Really appreciated this poem so much.
