When He Kissed Me

He didn't say a word;

He looked deep in my eyes,

He reached into my soul,

Even though he could see

my darkest fears.

He didn't need words;

The warmth of his eyes

He breathed a deep sigh,

Held me strong, our hearts entwined

before his lips softly touched mine.

Wanting forever;

I never wanted his kiss to end,

This was a new beginning;

And in a moment as beautiful

As a love song;

When he kissed me; he made the sun shine.
