When day time turns to night
The world gets ready to rest

When day time turns to night
As the day goes dark and twilight falls,
just semi-lighting the back of the trees.
The stars come out to greet the night,
the moon stalks just behind.
A nighttime picture an artist made,
just natural of the night.
A hush spreads wide, so soft, so deep,
as shadows dance and secrets keep.
The air hums low, the world at rest,
wrapped in night’s unspoken crest.
The branches whisper, lean, and sway,
guiding lost dreams that drift away.
A silver thread in midnight’s hand,
weaving magic where they land.
A quiet footstep, soft as lace,
moves unseen through time and space.
A ghostly hush, a gentle sigh,
as night unfolds its lullaby.
The stars blink twice, then settle tight,
nestled deep in velvet night.
Each spark a wish, a whispered name,
a fleeting touch of fate’s own flame.
The moon keeps watch with patient grace,
its glow a kiss, a cool embrace.
And all who wander, all who roam,
find comfort in the dark, feel home.

A great poem to instill relaxing thoughts before closing one's eyes before sleep. Good job.
