Whatever, Now What Can I Write?

Too many thoughts not going anywhere right

My direction right now is nonsense

I know it makes no sense

how can I be productive when I am

not going anywhere but I am not Sam

Mary is Sam, I am Estey Lindquist

~

I thought maybe the medicine wheel

someone wants more of this to heal

Then I thought what about my prompts

I feel a break from prompts coming from psychopomps

Nice Denise! Okay, I’m talking to myself

~

Then there was the idea of NaNoWriMo

that will be here before I know

It is November for some that do not go

there with writing 50,000 words in a month

It is a discipline I can hardly stand, so

today is only October eleventh

Put those thoughts away for now

~

Why not write about writing

is that what this is I’m typing

Is it still typing? Or keyboarding

I am getting old. I can talk about that

all day long, but boring is what the brat

will say today.

~

I call him brat and he says okay sassifrat

There are always plenty of stories about the rat

Did I tell you he left a mouse trap on the

kitchen counter and grossed me out yaaa

there was a recent dead mouse in that

~

No writing about hubby today I say

How about writing poetry then okay

This would count as nonsense may

be. Not quite rhyming but close today

they say it will be a beautiful day

I will be visiting with Kathleen Yaay

Time to finish this rhyme.

no more rhyme time.
