I wouldn’t defend myself

I wouldn’t have left

I wouldn’t have loved more

I also wouldn’t have loved for so long

I wouldn’t pick at my lips

I wouldn’t paint my nails

I wouldn’t sing to myself in the car

I wouldn’t express myself

I wouldn’t laugh at my ridiculousness and enjoy it

I would stop moving my hands

I would stop creating

I would stop loving

I would stop worrying

I wouldn’t write poems about myself

I wouldn’t think about all of you

I wouldn’t be my own
