I can help but remember

what used to be.

We used to be so close.

We had such a strong bond.

I can't help but remember

what used to be.

We had a love so strong

only people can dream of a love like that.

I can't help but remember

what used to be.

We had a wonderful thing going.

We had a strong attraction to each other.

I can't help but remember

what used to be.

We had something

That was so rare.

I can't help but remember

what used to be.

I will miss you

until the end of my days.
