What time cannot do
it only remembers

Time can
dry an ocean
raise a mountain
one speck of dust at a
time.
__
Time can
watch a jungle grow
from a single wind-tossed
seed.
__
See species
evolve themselves
right out of
evolution's use.
__
Time can
create age
from youth.
__
Time can
do anything.
__
Anything except
forget.

Can't turn back the tides. Great poem!
Yes time never forgets. That was so deep!
Amazing, Roderick. There's so much truth in this!
Love this. So true, too. Leaving the ending open like that, with no examples, is clever; it let’s the reader find that which time has not forgotten in their own life and continue the poem on their own. Plus, it carries a punch, the end. Great read!
