What She Did

The post-abduction chapter no one reads

She ransacked his heart.

Plundered its chambers.

Ripped out pericardium inspecting vascular tissue with calculating eyes.

Weighed profit margins for black market organs over unscrupulous bids.

Pillaged deeper,

piercing past promises to cherish and protect freedoms

while remaining

loyal in love by faith before fortune.

Bequests forgotten; faith betrayed.

Tears fallen; evil unswayed.

Innocence broken; a maiden deceived.

Lecherous desires; purity besieged.

Weakness transformed to warrior,

recompense needed.

Castrated pride

and manhood unseeded.

Her blade at his throat sought death for stolen life.

Profane release rituals tempting edge of sacred knife.

She considered with care

absent mercy,

torture and torment

her twins.

Always the prisoner,

always the pawn.

So measuring arteries,

planned angioplasty for veins,

she primed valves for dissection,

focused on gains.

Secured sterile pots before he shrieked at the start.

The rest of him worthless,

so she ransacked his heart.
