What’s the Use?

A Heart Lost in the Game

A Heart Lost in the Game

You were the one who sent me away,
So what's the use of remembering me now?
When hatred has already taken root,
What’s the use of such love now?

I have erased you from my heart,
Then what’s the use of meeting again?
I once loved you with all my heart,
Only to break myself upon knowing the truth.

You have become so ruthless,
Your heart has no place for emotions now.
You are a master player,
Toying with hearts as if they were mere pawns.
But I had only one heart,
And even that you shattered with your game.

Do not call me back again,
I have gathered my broken pieces with great effort.
I have started to understand this world a little better.
Life is not always colorful,
wherever is you look there is darkness.

Go, you will find many players,
Who will match your game.
Let me live my life in peace,
And never return to my memories, not even by mistake.
