What’s that?

Do you ever just think why? Purpose, is it worthless? I guess my mind wishes to seek. Answers

By Richard Lee Scruggs IIIPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I really didn’t know the answer

But the feeling swells inside me & I want to rip it out like a cancer

Every turn on every street I hear a greet as I walk

The voice of truth hits me to my roots even though no one has talked

Chalked around my being is a constant fleeing of energy

But I’m a shining star so maybe it’s just subpar waste of my inner me

So I asked myself am I wasting a wealth of bionic effort

So my mind sighs give no indication of why & show me a vision of slaves in red dirt

Can’t complain right that sight should make you appreciate life, sike

It’s a metaphor for what my soul long for, freedom right?

I guess explaining this mess builds stress until I scream I don’t know

Because the man willing to admit he doesn’t know just admitted he wants a chance to grow

So I gotta know thy self & shine like Orion’s Belt & put fear on the shelf in the attic of my soul

Cause my goal to teach might not reach the world on the whole

So I’ll teach those in my reach for that’s all I can control
