What is your idea of a dream date?

Post graduation was over.

Ohh wait. Placements left!

I was so pissed off of giving the interviews day after another. And all that would come back to me was hope, that too depriving with each test/ interview.

And then all this was secondary, because after all it was his placement that mattered to me at primary.

He is the pillar to my happiness, star of my only sky.

He actually stood for me, for my each interview, for my each hope, for my each rejection, for witnessing my success, and to hear some acceptation.

August 2018

Verifone was in the campus today. Verifone means "LEVEL HAI BOSS!!" (Dude, it has got a separate fanbase for a technical person) I was not expecting him or me into that. However, 4 students made till the final round, out of 180 people and I was one of those 4 people.

Final Interview just passed by. His number was flashing on my phone.

"How was the Interview cutie pie!", he was so sure of my selection.

"RUINED!", I was damn upset.

"OYE! I am coming okay!! Chill! I am sure, they will call soon", he was on the way back from some of his interview.

"yea.. How was yours?" I always wanted to hear something good for this.

"ummm... okay-okay types", he would always stay calm for each and every phase being introduced to him by this bitch called life! "okay. Just give me a ring, once you are back!" I was so tired of everything.

"Yes! you sleep till then. Love you my cuteness factory! See ya"

"Yes. Come back soon. Missing you. See ya"

He is the home to my celebrations and home to my griefs.

6:00 PM (The same day)

There he was! He would hire a sooty every time I was upset.

"Come, sit fast! We will go and eat Pav-Bhaji" Just because food makes me happy.

But actually eating with him makes me happy, makes my day!

And we went on a long ride.

He: "Oye! Please talk! Why being so upset about it!"

me: "It's not just about my interview! But I want to hear for you as well! Last week, you gave interview in 'XYZ' company! It was such a good company! I was hoping, praying!!"

He: "Chill sweetheart! It was not meant for me! We both will be placed soon."

me: "You know, if you get placed, I would be 100% tension free! Why It's not happening for you! Please get placed Shona! I will be very happy and tension free"

And we arrived at the stall.

Every time we go out and eat! It's a date for me! Because every time, he makes the world go round on me knees, every time he has the menu for my tastebuds, every time he creates a moment to into forever!

He ordered Pav-Bhaji. He was all calm, happy, peaceful!

To him, it's always about me and to me, it's always about him!

He was just about to put the second bite in his mouth, and his phone rang.

"What! Hello! he...h" He expressions were confused.

"Who is speaking?"

"Ohh! Ashish sir! Okay okay. Thanks" his face suddenly went so calm and dull. And he hung up the call.

me: "Who was on the call? What happened?" I was so anxious to know.

He: "A person was on the call telling me his identity as our lab assistant, Ashish sir, saying that I have been placed for the company I was screened for, about a week ago. He was asking me to check the placement portal.

me: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!" We confirmed it on the placement portal.

I was more than this word called 'Happiness'. That feeling was something different, something so fulfilling, something so satisfying.

I looked at his face with my hands wanting to hold his face and kiss him like a teddy bear! But wait! LIKE SERIOUSLY! He was sitting silent and was actually in the tears that were not of happiness!

me: "Oye! My teddy bear! Why are you crying! Is it out of happiness? What are you waiting for! Idiot let's call your papa and mummy! And let's go ot temple after the call! Hurry hurry hurry!" I was super Excited!

He looked at me. His eyes were brimming out of tears! His eyes were red.

me: "What happened Shoni? Is there something else as well?" He was still so numb and silent!

me: "Please tell me!"

He: "I was really expecting you placement call today. I wanted your call before mine. I really want..." And he broke down.

He is as deep as an ocean. He is as high as the Zenith. He is my world. A world so damn big to dive into! He is my Heartbeat!

You cant force a perfect date, merely be sincere with yourself and them and the rest will take itself from there.
