What is the harm in asking questions?

This poem is about me getting frustrated when people get mad at me for asking questions.

What is it like,

To be nagged constantly,

For asking questions?

My stepfather criticizes me,

Almost every time,

For asking basic questions.

What is the harm in that?

It’s not as if,

I am asking him,

To do something illegal.

I am easily confused,

So I ask questions,

To everyone I know.

Do other people nag at me,

For asking basic questions?

Of course not!

It is always him!

The only time,

I ask too many questions,

Is when I cannot find,

Something basic in the kitchen.

Beyond that,

Everytime my stepfather gets mad at me,

For asking questions,

It infuriates me!

Why should you care

About how many questions I ask,

When it is human nature to do so?

Thus,

When someone gets irritated at me,

For asking questions

I will keep asking them!

It is my right to do so!
