What is real?
What is fake?
What has transpired before me that brings me to my current state?
What makes love real?
What is love to you?
What has happened to push the universe and existence on cue?
What makes happiness real?
Lack of sadness? Or a heartache?
Has the mind constructed emotion through chemical intake?
What makes anything real?
What makes anything fake?
Why have enjoyment if it brings up questions like a never ending well?
Someone to share it with makes everything worth it.
You know, someone to tell.

Christmas Tree
Christmas tree curbside done with living room season waiting for trash truck. I don't even put a Christmas tree in the living room. But when I see the trees on the curb, near the trash bin, waiting for pickup, it makes me sad. Maybe I see a metaphor in it, the way it is discarded when the season is over.
