What is love?
Is it a touch,
Is it a feel goof around one you love,
What does it feel like,
It is when your heart skips a beat,
Does the one you love heart skip a beat also,
Love is written all over your books,
Love is expressed in so many ways,
Love is a color we call red,
Love can be soft and warm,
Love can also be shown in many different ways,
It all depends on the way the love wants to show itself,
Love weaves it way into the world everyday,
Day by day it shows up

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
